The Drift Experience
More than just a drive - this is a real motorsport lesson designed to thrill and teach.
Tokyo Extreme Drive is offering an experience that will plunge you deep into the world of drifting. This one-day activity is supported by our expert staff members who will help you master the basics of drifting a car. No international driving permit required!

The Instructor
Yuuma Okumo
Our drift experiences are overseen by D1 Lights driver Yuuma Okumo. Multiple podium finishes including winning the 2023 D1 Lights Round 5 at Nikko Circuit, Yuuma will coach you and provide tips on how to improve your drifting skills.
REQUIREMENTS TO BOOK THE TOUR
1.) Must be booked at least one month in advance
2.) Must be at least 18 years old to drift yourself
3.) International driving permits NOT REQUIRED - drivers license optional but preferred
4.) Must be able to speak and understand English
5.) Children must be at least 6 years old to come along
6.) Under 18's must be accompanied by an adult
7.) No alcohol before or during tour - passengers included
8.) Must arrive on time - if late we cannot wait and no refund is provided
TERMS & CONDITIONS
1.) Cancellations within 48 hours = no refund
2.) Late more than 15 minutes = no refund
3.) Missing documentation including passports = no refund
4.) Photocopies of documents are not accepted
5.) We run tours rain or shine unless extreme weather - refunds provided if cancellation due to weather is necessary
6.) Intoxicated = no tour, no refund
7.) Drift experience must be booked at least one month in advance
8.) Full payments must be processed within 48 hours of booking process completion
9.) If you are unable to follow driving rules or unable to safely operate the car you selected, you will be switched for our staff driving
10.) Cars may appear slightly different on the day of the experience than what they look like in photos - this is due to additional modifications or unforeseen damage
11.) FREE transportation to and from the track included
Transportation
Free Transportation by Tokyo Extreme Drive
As a part of the drift experience, we offer free transportation to and from the race track from a central location in downtown Tokyo.
If you have your own car or a rental car, you may choose to make your own way to the race track.
Optional - Drive Yourself in a Tokyo Extreme Drive vehicle
If you have a valid drivers license and an international driving permit, you may also choose to book one of our special vehicles to drive yourself to and from the race track for an additional fee.
Please let us know at the time of booking if you wish to choose this option!
* Must be at least 23 to choose this option
** These vehicles cannot be raced or drifted at the race track, they are only to be driven to and from the track on public roads
